Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is a 2v2 tag team fighting game developed and published by Capcom. It launched back in September 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC through Steam, and it is not a pure mobile game at all. There is no official android version and nothing to grab from google play, so if you see a download link for an app version, it is fake. On PC and consoles it is a full price release, and yes, there is in game purchase content. The base roster is there, but costumes and the Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite - Superior Spider-Man Costume are sold as small paid DLC items, usually a couple of bucks each, and the bigger character passes cost more. No ads, which is nice.

You play it like any tag fighter. Pick two characters, one from Marvel and one from Capcom, then swap them mid combo and use the Infinity Stones to change the flow of a match. The best part for me is the active switch system. Chaining a Spider-Man air combo straight into a Capcom character's super feels amazing once it clicks. My favorite thing to do is lab time with the Superior Spider-Man look on, just messing around with stone combos against the CPU. It is not a pick up and play game though. The tutorial is thin, and you will get bodied online fast if you do not learn the timing.

Compared to other tag fighters, this one sits somewhere between Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Dragon Ball FighterZ. MvC3 has more legacy depth and a bigger community, and FighterZ is easier to look at and easier to learn. I still recommend Infinite because the Infinity Stone system adds a layer that neither of those has, and the roster crossover is just fun. If you are on android and hoping for a mobile port, sorry, there is nothing official. Just install it on PC or console through the proper store and skip any sketchy app download.

• Infinity Stone variety 💠 - Stones like Power or Soul genuinely change matchups, giving more team building freedom than MvC3's simpler setup.
• Easy to pick a team 🎯 - The character select is straightforward, so new players are not overwhelmed before their first match.

• Thin tutorial 😕 - It barely explains the systems, and Dragon Ball FighterZ does a much better job teaching newcomers.
• Costume DLC pricing 💸 - Paying extra for a Superior Spider-Man skin feels steep when MvC3 bundled more cosmetic content.
• No mobile version 📵 - Anyone searching google play for an android download will only find fakes, which is frustrating.
